Redefining Sustainable Riding
PHOSGO — from “Phôs,” the Greek word for light, and “Go,” for movement. Light, in motion.
Two ways to leave the charger behind.
Go Far.
Refuel as You Ride.
Every sunny day feeds range back into the battery, ride for 3 days, 140-miles short trip, zero plug-in charging needed.
| Base battery range | 90 mi |
| Hard riding per day | 50 mi |
| Solar recovered per day | 17 mi |
| Net battery used per day | 33 mi |
| off-grid on a single charge | ~3 days ~ 140mi |
One-Month Commute.
No Charging Worries.
Short daily trips, parked in the sun while you work. Solar quietly tops up the battery in the background — so a single charge can carry you through nearly a month of commuting.
| Starting battery range | 90 mi |
| Daily solar boost (parked) | 17 mi |
| Typical daily round-trip commute | -20 mi |
| Net battery used per day | ~3 mi |
| Charge-free riding | up to 30 days |
Riders' First Impressions
Why We Built the Solar Wheel Panel
Traditional solar panels weren’t designed for bicycle wheels. So we engineered our own: a wheel-shaped, spoke-mounted panel that’s waterproof and impact-resistant. Power flows through our proprietary conductive hub to an integrated MPPT solar controller, delivering smooth, stable power to the e-bike.
Dual-Mode Charging
How One Solar System Does Two Jobs.
PHOSGO’s Dual-Mode Charging intelligently directs solar power where it’s needed most. While riding, solar energy is delivered directly to the motor to reduce battery consumption. When parked, it automatically recharges the battery—no manual switching required.
Bafang Mid-Drive Motor up to 150 N·m.
Powered by a high-performance Bafang M430 mid-drive motor delivering up to 150 N·m of torque, it provides strong, stable power for responsive acceleration and exceptional climbing across diverse terrains.
LG Cells Built for Reality
Built with LG battery cells for trusted power and durability. Furthermore with real-time CAN bus monitoring battery status is continuously tracked, delivering intelligent protection against overheating, overcharging , and over-discharging - for safer charging and total peace of mind on every ride,
Smart Security, Always On
GPS, 4G and Bluetooth work together to deliver seamless real-time connectivity and full vehicle visibility.
Track your ride anytime with precise positioning, while advanced safety features - including anti-theft alerts, fall detection, remote locking, and battery monitoring - work together to protect both your vehicle and every journey

FAQs
What do you mean by "One-Month Commute. No Charging Worries."
It's simple: the battery already gives you a solid base range, and each day the bike sits in the sun, solar adds back around 17 miles. Since most daily commutes stay within about 20 miles, the net drain on the battery stays small — so a single full charge can last roughly 16 to 35 days before you need to plug in, depending on how you ride and the weather.
How much range does solar actually add?
Under good sunlight, up to ~17 miles (27 km) per day — recovered continuously while you ride and while you're parked.
Is solar charging fast enough?
PHOSGO isn't built for fast charging — it's built for less charging. The value isn't peak power in a single moment; it's how much riding range the system adds back over the course of a day.
How big is the bike — will it fit me?
The 29" frame suits riders roughly 5'7"–6'4" (170–193 cm).
Can it climb hills?
Yes. The Bafang mid-drive delivers up to 150 N·m and handles grades of roughly 20–25%, depending on rider weight, load, and road conditions.
What's the difference between US and EU models?
Same solar technology, same frame. US models run higher-power motors and speeds; EU models are tuned to local pedelec rules (250W / 25 km/h).
When does it ship, and how do I order?
We're launching soon on Indiegogo. Join the email list now for early access and the lowest price
How long does it take to charge with a plug-in?
About 3 hours from empty to a full charge on a standard plug — and solar keeps topping it up for free whenever you're in the sun.
What's the maximum load capacity?
Up to 330 lbs (150 kg), including the rider and any cargo.
What brakes does the Go 5 Series use?
Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors — strong, consistent stopping power in any weather.
Does it have suspension?
Yes — front hydraulic suspension to smooth out bumps and rough roads.
Is Phosgo Go 5 Series Waterproof?
Yes. The whole bike is rated IPX5, so it's built to handle rain and wet roads with confidence.
Does solar only work when parked, or also while I ride?
Both. Parked in the sun, the wheels recharge the battery — around 17 miles of range over a few sunny hours. Riding in the sun, that power flows straight to the motor, so you draw less from the battery per mile (about 6.5 Wh/mi vs 8 Wh/mi) — stretching your range even further.
