Yes. PHOSGO now offers both step-over and step-through frame options.
The step-through version has the same specifications, performance, solar charging system and price as the corresponding step-over model. The main difference is the frame design, which provides a lower entry point for easier mounting and dismounting.
Customers can select their preferred frame style when placing their order.
It's simple: the battery already gives you a solid base range, and each day the bike sits in the sun, solar adds back around 17 miles. Since most daily commutes stay within about 20 miles, the net drain on the battery stays small — so a single full charge can last roughly 16 to 35 days before you need to plug in, depending on how you ride and the weather.
We conducted real-world riding tests in strong crosswinds. During our testing, the bike remained stable and controllable, without any noticeable impact on normal steering. You can watch the actual wind test here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EW3mr9nriz4
Of course, strong winds can affect any bicycle, so we always recommend slowing down or avoiding riding in extreme weather conditions.
Under good sunlight, up to ~17 miles (27 km) per day — recovered continuously while you ride and while you're parked.
PHOSGO isn't built for fast charging — it's built for less charging. The value isn't peak power in a single moment; it's how much riding range the system adds back over the course of a day.
The 29" frame suits riders roughly 5'7"–6'4" (170–193 cm).
Yes. The Bafang mid-drive delivers up to 150 N·m and handles grades of roughly 20–25%, depending on rider weight, load, and road conditions.

About 3 hours from empty to a full charge on a standard plug — and solar keeps topping it up for free whenever you're in the sun.
Up to 441 lbs (200 kg), including the rider and any cargo.
Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors — strong, consistent stopping power in any weather.
Yes — Adjustable air-suspension fork, 110 mm travel to smooth out bumps and rough roads.
Yes. The whole bike is rated IPX5, so it's built to handle rain and wet roads with confidence.
Both. Parked in the sun, the wheels recharge the battery — around 17 miles of range over a few sunny hours. Riding in the sun, that power flows straight to the motor, so you draw less from the battery per mile (about 6.5 Wh/mi vs 8 Wh/mi) — stretching your range even further.
